Sweetnight Mattress Reviews

If you’re thinking about buying one of SweetNight’s mattresses, you may wonder which one is best.

That’s why I took the trouble to test and compare each of the models available on the SweetNight website.

All in all, SweetNight mattresses are a good buy if you want to save money because they are good quality and work well for the front, back, side, combo, and edge sleepers – even couples.

However, specific models are more suitable for certain sleeping positions than others, particularly in cool sleep and supporting sleepers over 230 pounds.

1: Twilight Hybrid – Best Mattress Overall

Sweetnight twilight Hybrid

I chose the Twilight as the best SweetNight mattress because I think it has the right balance of features to appeal to most sleep styles.

More specifically, it’s a “luxury firm” mattress with a firmness rating of 6.5, a comfort layer of gel memory foam, and an innerspring core made up of individually wrapped coils.

The Twilight provides a supportive sleeping environment for the hips in the front and back sleeping positions and offers pressure relief in the side sleeping position for hips and shoulders.

In addition, the adaptive support core supports your spine and joints in any sleeping position to promote better posture and prevent back pain.

And suppose you’re a heavy sleeper weighing more than 230 pounds.

If that is the case, the Twilight is specifically designed to support that extra weight without sagging the mattress – but I recommend choosing the 12-inch thickness rather than the 10-inch thickness, as the extra depth provides additional support and pressure relief.

Plus, the reinforced edges mean that rolling is less likely if you’re the kind of edge sleeper who hugs the edge of the bed at night.

The Twilight is also great for couples, as the individually wrapped coils and foam top layer can absorb the shock waves caused by your bed partner moving around or sitting on the edge of the bed better than an innerspring mattress with a fused core usually can.

The mattress is made with memory foam that is breathable and designed to work with the innerspring to maintain your temperature and keep you cool.

If you are allergic to dust mites or have sensitive skin, the hypoallergenic cover can help prevent allergy flare-ups by avoiding dust mites from entering and being gentler on your skin.

Finally, if you’re a combination sleeper, the support should shine through the coils just enough to give you the lift you need to change sleeping positions without getting tangled in the materials.

Although this mattress contains memory foam, it is designed to promote airflow and regulate temperature with its spring core to keep you cool.

  • High-density foam combined with tempered steel coils provides edge support and prevents sagging.
  • This mattress is extremely affordable compared to other mattresses in the market that generally cost over $1,000 for a queen.
  • Works with box spring, slatted, platform, adjustable, and hospital bed frames – as well as the floor.

2: Sunkiss Memory Foam – Best Flippable Mattress

Sweetnight Sunkiss Mattress

If you’re looking for a softer mattress, the soft side of the Sunkiss double-sided, all-foam memory foam mattress might be ideal for you.

The gel-infused memory foam top layer works in conjunction with the softer firmness level to reduce the surface tension of the mattress, allowing deeper compression of the memory foam to provide excellent pressure relief in the side sleeping position.

And if you’re a stomach or back sleeper, you’ll probably enjoy the feel of the firmer side of the Sunkiss mattress.

However, it’s important to note that this all-foam mattress ( NOT ) is designed for sleepers over 230 lbs (choose the Twilight instead).

And combination sleepers will likely feel that moving around in the foam requires more effort than Twilight’s hybrid construction.

If you’re a warmer sleeper, the Twilight is a better choice for you, as the Sunkiss’ all-foam construction doesn’t promote air circulation as well.

However, if you’re a two-person sleeper, the Sunkiss is the better choice because the complete lack of springs means the mattress is nearly silent, and the foam absorbs shock waves and movement better, so you don’t wake each other up as you shuffle around in the night.

Recommended For

  • Side sleepers – soft side.
  • Front and back sleepers – firm side.
  • Sleepers UNDER 230 lbs.
  • Couples.

Considerations

  • Too much sinkage for sleepers over 230 lbs.
  • Combination sleepers may find it difficult to move around in the foam.
  • Edge sleepers may not find the edge support adequate.
  • Only ships in the US.

Additional Benefits

  • CertiPUR-US® certified – meaning that the mattress is free from toxic chemicals like formaldehyde, flame retardants, heavy metals and is low in VOCs that can contribute to harmful off-gassing.
  • Works with box spring, slatted, platform, adjustable, and hospital bed frames – as well as the floor.
  • 100 day return policy.
  • 10 years full warranty

3: Breeze – Best Cooling Memory Foam Mattress

Sweetnight Breeze Mattress

If you tend to sleep hot, I still think the Twilight is the best cooling mattress because of the coil core, promoting airflow better than an all-foam mattress.

But if you’re a lighter side sleeper under 150 lbs that also sleeps warm, then you need a mattress with great pressure relief, deeper sinkage, and additional cooling properties.

In this case, the Breeze might be better for you than the Twilight.

That’s because the all-foam construction with 3″ of memory foam in the upper comfort layer, 3.5″ of air-flow comfort foam in the transition layer, and 5.5″ of high-density support foam in the support layer provides excellent pressure relief for your shoulders and allows for deeper sinking to eliminate pressure forces on your joints – while also dissipating heat better than traditional memory foam to keep you cool.

In addition, the Breeze is designed for heavier people over 230 lbs, but for stomach sleepers, I would use caution since the all-foam design and slightly softer firmness may not support your hips as well as the Twilight or Sunkiss.

Likewise, combo sleepers might find a lap on this mattress more difficult.

However, the all-foam construction benefits compatible couples by absorbing shock waves and motion so you can sleep undisturbed.

Recommended For

  • Side sleepers.
  • Lighter-weighted sleepers under 150 lbs require more sinkage.
  • Back sleepers who prefer a softer mattress.
  • Couples.

Considerations

  • Front sleepers may find that the mattress is too soft for their liking.
  • The foam may make it more difficult for combination sleepers to move around.
  • Despite its breathable foam, the Breeze isn’t particularly cool like a hybrid mattress like the Twilight.

Additional Benefits

  • CertiPUR-US® certified – meaning that the mattress is free from toxic chemicals like formaldehyde, flame retardants, heavy metals, and low VOCs that can contribute to harmful off-gassing.
  • Compatible with all types of mattress – including box spring, slatted, platform, adjustable, hospital bed, and the floor.

4: Island – Best Hybrid Mattress For Couples

Island Mattress

For couples, all-foam mattresses like the Sunkiss and Breeze are the best because they minimize noise and motion isolation.

However, if you don’t like the feel of all-foam mattresses and sleep as a couple, the Island might be a better option for you.

This is because the innerspring core uses individually wound coils to absorb movement and shockwaves better than the fused core of a regular innerspring mattress normally can.

And the luxuriously firm feel makes this a well-rounded mattress suitable for front, back, side, edge, and combo sleepers – as well as cool sleepers.

Recommended For

  • Couples.
  • Sleepers over 230 lbs.
  • Front, back, side, combo, and edge sleepers.
  • Warmer sleepers.

Considerations

  • Only available in the US.

Additional Benefits

  • CertiPUR-US® certified – meaning that the mattress is free from toxic chemicals like formaldehyde, flame retardants, heavy metals, and low VOCs that can contribute to harmful off-gassing.
  • Works with box spring, slatted, platform, adjustable, and hospital bed frames – as well as the floor.
  • 100 day return policy.

5: Ocean Blue – Most Affordable

OceanBlue Mattress

Foam mattresses like the Sunkiss and Breeze are ideal for couples because their lack of springs reduces noise and motion transfer.

  • Budget-minded sleepers.
  • Front, back, and combo sleepers up to 230 lbs.
  • Warmer Sleepers

Considerations

  • It may be too firm for side sleepers.
  • The thin profile makes it unsuitable for heavy-weighted sleepers over 230 lbs.

Additional Benefits

  • CertiPUR-US® certified – meaning that the mattress is free from toxic chemicals like formaldehyde, flame retardants, heavy metals, and is low in VOCs that can contribute to harmful off-gassing.
  • It works with box springs, slatted frames, platform frames, adjustable frames, and hospital beds – and even the floor.
  • 100 day return policy.
  • 10 year warranty.
