What are the differences between these mattresses and the Original Purple Mattress?

It is possible to get a plusher mattress with the other mattress models because they use thicker grid systems and springs.
The numbers correspond to the mattress’s comfort grid depth. As shown below, Purple 2 has 2 inches of polymer grid, Purple 3 has 3 inches, and Purple 4 has 4 inches. Purple mattresses include a spring system in their base layer.

There is only one Purple mattress without springs, which is the Original.
Therefore, it will feel firmest and have the least motion transfer.
The Purple 3 or 4 will be better options if you want something plusher. It’s a good mattress for the back- and stomach-sleepers and can also accommodate side-sleepers.
